The Mac is Back! This weekend sees the epic return of Conor McGregor to the UFC ring in Las Vegas. In his big comeback fight, the ‘Notorious’ Irish superstar takes on veteran fighter Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at the T-Mobile Arena. Let’s look at the McGregor vs Cerrone stats, predictions and odds!

The McGregor vs Cowboy showdown is the main event on the UFC 246 card taking place on 18th January and is Conor McGregor’s return to the ring after a 15-month absence.
McGregor hasn’t won a fight since 2016 and this will be his first UFC fight since his defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, so undoubtably his comeback fight be one of the biggest events in UFC history.

McGREGOR vs CERRONE PREDICTIONS
Conor McGregor is the favourite to win and is looking physically transformed having bulked up massively for the fight. He hasn’t fought at welterweight since his Nate Diaz rematch in August 2016, so the pressure is on and he’ll need to pull out all the stops to beat the all-American hero.
Cerrone is a welterweight veteran and doesn’t have the same level of pressure that McGregor has in proving he can win his comeback fight. Cowboy is one of the best fighters in the world and though the odds favour the flamboyant McGregor, Cowboy has more fights behind him so will feeling confident, so don’t write him off!
