Ice Ice Baby

London, February 6th 2018. Once a year the biggest names of the iGaming industry flock to the European metropolis of London to showcase their latest innovations and products at the Totally ICE Gaming Exhibition.

With over 1,000 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors, ICE is a unique gathering place with hundreds of new products launches over three days. And of course, the Mr Green crew was there.

From T-Rex roaming the conference floor to Slimer taking selfies with moi -ICE is a giant playground for gaming enthusiasts from all over the world.

At 3 pm sharp on February 6th at ICE, the crème de la crème of the industry gathered in front of NetEnt’s booth and eagerly awaited the big announcement. The bubbly readily chilled, all eyes were on the big screen – in case you missed it, here’s the video:

Mr Green’s sleek new LIVE product is an immersive larger than life virtual casino floor that consists of a four table area with two roulette tables and two blackjack tables, and players moving around on the floor.

Available on mobile now and launching on desktop later this spring, you can play Live Beyond Live exclusively at Mr Green for 12 months before the product will be released across the entire Online Casino network.

NetEnt’s news didn’t stop there! The leading digital gaming provider also announced that they have secured a deal with film company Gaumont and the producer of the hit series Narcos to produce a themed slot game based on the award-nominated television series.

Keep your eyes peeled for the end of 2018 when the slot blockbuster will hit the reels at Mr Green’s Casino.

As if conquering Columbia isn’t enough, NetEnt also revealed that they will be heading to Valhalla later this year. The gaming giant also sealed a deal with A+E Networks® to create a video slot game based on the critically acclaimed drama series Vikings.

Speaking of battles and awesomeness, Mr Green’s very own Hulk Ludvig Phillip got to put his guns to use at one of the stands for a chance to win the most magnificent prize of all – a Weazel Ball toy.

And so he donned the boxing gloves and with full force Ludvig scored a whoppin’ 999 on the score board putting him in top position.

No photographs were taken of Mr Weazel, we were worried you might get too peanut butter jelly. No wonder Hulk had to recharge his batteries afterwards…

After his little power nap, Hulk took one of the Virtual Reality headsets for a test drive over at Evoplay.

More than a decade ago, the proliferation of smartphones enabled Casino players to enjoy their favorite slots from the comfort of their homes, fast-forward to 2017 and players are completely immersing themselves in slot game themes via the phenomenal Virtual Realty technology.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to wear one of these futuristic VR headsets, then have a look at the video below which features NetEnt’s exploratory mission in virtual reality by using the Jack & the Beanstalk slot classic as a foundation.

Simply play the video and drag the screen in all sorts of directions to explore the wonderful world of Jack!

Whilst we were amazed by the VR technology around us, Mr Green’s CEO Jepser Kärrbrink and our Head of Responsible Gaming hero Lauren were busy promoting an ingenious new product of our own – Mr Green’s latest Green Gaming innovation, the Predictive Tool.

Already launched in most Mr Green markets, the tool won the SBC Socially Responsible Bookmaker of 2017 and the IGA 2018 Socially Responsible Online operator of the Year earlier this year.

In case you’ve missed it, here’s the interview with Mattias the CEO of Mr Green Technology at ICE:

So that was ICE in a nutshell ????????️???? Until next time!
