On this lovely island outside of France, we met up with the rest of Mr Green’s Stockholm team that had arrived the day before, for a weekend of fun & adventure together.
The first day was all about traveling, meeting colleagues from our different offices and a little bit of work – once we had enjoyed some well needed coffee and delicious French pastries, yummy macaroons and chocolate treats, it was time for a conference held by Mr Green & CO AB CEO – Per together with our CEO – Jesper.
As Mr Green now heads into its 10th year anniversary, they gave us an introduction of the company followed by a speech about our company culture and values to remind us all of why we exist and what our goals are.
Once the conference was over, it was time for a delicious lunch before we hit the road to discover the capital and birthplace of Napoleon, Ajaccio! We spent some time discovering this beautiful city and ended the tour with a trip to Casino D’Ajaccio for some fun time playing at the Island’s casino before it was time to head back to the Radisson hotel. The evening ended with a great dinner experience followed by some drinks, dancing and socializing.
If the first day was all about relaxing and having a great relaxing time, the second day was all about adventure! After breakfast, everyone split up into different groups depending on selected activity and headed off to enjoy the thrill of 4×4 vehicles rides, buggy rides, canyoning, hiking and horse riding!
Even though most of us were exhausted after a long and challenging day, that did not stop us from having another amazing dinner followed by a big party at LeRoc 72, and if there is one thing you can trust, it is that Greener’s know how to have fun!
We woke up on the Monday morning feeling the Monday blues by having to say goodbye for this time to our amazing Stockholm colleagues who had to take a plane back to Stockholm. For the rest, we spent our last day with a trip to Bonifacio, one of the oldest towns of Corsica where the bus tour went through magical nature and beautiful views. We arrived to Bonifacio where we hopped on the ‘Le Petit train de Bonifacio’, to take us up to Citadel and medieval old town where a lunch buffet was served looking over some breathtaking views.
The tour ended with some leisure time spent walking around the city before the coach took us back to Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte airport where our private plan was waiting to take us back to our home island of Malta. We thank Mr Green for yet another great trip full of adventure and we truly had a wonderful time together.
