Trading Room Tips: Champions League
Arsenal have it all to do, and then some, if they’re to make the Last 16 for the first time since 09/10. The Gunners don’t look capable of overturning a four goal deficit against any of Europe’s elite, let alone against the might of Bayern Munich.
Bayern are on a 16 game unbeaten run, 14 of which have been victories. Arsenal are coming off the back of another defeat to a Premier League rival, in the form of a 3-1 loss against Liverpool. Whether Wenger decides to play Alexis Sanchez will play a big part in how close the Gunners can come to climbing the 20/1 mountain of qualification.
Trading Room Tip:
“Arsenal have the quality to threaten, if not overcome the scoreline, they’ll need to throw caution to the wind which could really open the game up. That, combined with the quality of the opposition and the fact they’ve conceded five goals in their last two meetings means we’re expecting a goal-fest. Our tip: 5 or more goals in the game at 11/4”

The writing looks on the wall in two of the other Last 16 ties this week. PSG’s impressive display in Paris has all but put the Barca stars to the sword, and Napoli are going to have to find something special to come from 3-1 down against Real Madrid. But it’s all to play for in Dortmund where Borussia are still slight favourites despite a first leg 1-0 defeat in Benfica.
